HCL signs 5 yr deal with Dr Pepper Snapple Group

Leading global IT services provider, HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL), on Tuesday announced that it has won a contract from US-based beverages producer Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) to provide IT application support and infrastructure management services.

As per the agreement, HCL will deliver application support to DPS and manage and monitor its infrastructure for a period of five years.

Apart from this, the Indian IT firm will also deliver managed print services to DPS under the contract.

However, the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed so far.

DPS is considered as one of the leading producer of flavoured beverages.

Some of its leading brands include 7UP, Canada Dry, Crush and Schweppes.

Commenting over the contract, Shami Khorana (President, HCL America) said: “With a world-class customer like DPS, we continue to expand our leadership in our consumer packaged goods vertical and bring on new staff at our new facility in North Carolina.”

In the recent past, HCL has been ranked as the World's No.1 Best Performing IT Infrastructure Services by Global Services 100 Survey 2008.
